Booster Club Meeting This Thursday - Posted 11/04/09

T-Shirts Available at Upcoming Meets - Posted 9/20/09

If you have a cadet attending Saturday's orienteering or the drill meet there will be tshirts for sale at those meets. Send cash with your cadet if you want to get one for them or yourself, $12 for one and $10 for each thereafter. They are great for parents to wear when going to support your cadet at any event. We have PLENTY we need to sell! We still over 150 on hand and all profits go back to the program for the cadets.

Hoodie and Windsuits - Posted 9/20/09

Kathy Cudar will be our POC on hoodies, windsuits - and the personalized dog tags pre-orders when those start. Order by filling out a form and sending it with payment to her. Orders and money are to be in by November 3rd. Contact Kathy at with questions.

Dog Tags - Posted 9/20/09

Jackie Hogan is our POC on dog tags. If people need to buy, sell or turn in money her email is jackie.hogan@kellerisd.net. Also contact Jackie regarding time slots for setting up and selling dog tags and shirts at football games.

The dog tags are a hot item - we sold $260 worth at Central's Homecoming!

Jackie will also have the list of football games and who is working what times and days. If you can fill one of the slots please email her. We have a lot of games coming up including three games where we will need four parents because we will need a stand on each side (such as when Central plays Keller or Keller plays Fossil Ridge). Thank you so much for those that have worked the table and those who are set to work the table.

New Booster Club Officers Elected - posted 9/3/09

Congratulations to the newly elected officers for the Keller ISD JROTC Booster Club. President Sherri Schaefer is serving her second term. The new Vice Presidents are Kathy Cudar and Jackie Hogan. All three officers will serve two-year terms.

Veteran's Day 2008 Parade Details Released

(posted 11/3/08) We have received more information about the Veteran'sDay Parade in Fort Worth.

Veteran's Day Parade-2008 will be held on Tuesday, 11 November 2008. The parade route will be as follows: Begins at LaGrave Field, at N 6th and North Main, proceeds South on North Main Street to Houston Street; South on Houston Street to 5th Street; East on 5th Street to Main Street; North on Main Street to LaGrave Field. Here is the parade route map.

The theme for this year’s parade is: “Women In the Military – Past, Present, and the Future”. The parade begins at approximately 10:15 a.m. Units will be formed prior to 0930 along North Commerce Street (facing North) from N 4th Street, (North) to N 6th Street. Note: FWPD will close North Main at 0930 hours.

Uniform: Class A, or Service Dress” uniform with Headgear for Cadre and Cadets

Recognition: Streamers will be presented as awards for the Best marching unit – JROTC and JCC
