Every
high school program relies heavily on the involvement of parents and JROTC is
no different. As Uncle Sam says, "We Need You!" You can help in so many
ways. We
need chaparones for the various drill meets, rope course trips, etc. These activities
are a lot of fun for the parents as well as the cadets - by the end of the trip
you may just find yourself flying down the zip line at the ropes course or leaping
from the top of a telephone pole, like the parent pictured here!
We needs
fans. Our high school JROTC cadets work hard at their various competitions and
activities. We'd like to see parents at the drill meets to cheer them on. These
young men and women represent our community - the community needs to step up and
cheer them on! We need photographers at every event. You don't have to be
a professional - just take your digital camera along to an event and snap lots
of pictures of the cadets in action. Then contact
us and we'll post your shots on this website. Any special skills you
have could be beneficial to the club. Do you like to bake? Making treats for the
cadets at their events would be great. Have ideas for fund
raisers? Does your company
sponsor youth activities? Have artistic skills? We welcome your ideas and
creativity. It doesn't matter what high school your JROTC cadet attends
- Central High School, Fossil Ridge High School, Keller High School or Timber
Creek High School - we need your support. Please contact
us if you can help out. |
