4 Points Why Tactical Gear Backpacks Are Perfect For Outdoor Travels

I like the outdoors and so do many others. If I were to ask what are the top 3 must-have items a camper should have, I am sure that backpacks, particularly tactical gear backpacks, will not be on the list. But I think that together with a multi-tool, LED flashlight and an excellent pair of boots, good backpacks are critical to those who like the outdoors.

Durability
I prefer tactical backpacks for the basic fact that thy are far more rugged than normal out of doors backpacks. I have two models of tactical gear backpacks for close to four years now and there aren't any signs of wear. I've used them for diverse out of doors trips, some lasting up to six weeks. They've been thru all sorts of weather and have come out almost unscathed.

The reason why I switched to tactical backpacks in the 1st place was as the apparently sturdy backpacks I used to have came apart during a 3-week hiking expedition. The backpack was just over 12 months old then. I suppose that I should have taken a hint when the inner lining started to tear and the shoulder straps started to fray.

Storage
Many tactical gear backpacks come with tons of compartments with powerful sidewalls or separators. The one I have has a hydration bladder pouch which makes taking a sip while on a busy schedule a cinch. Ordinary backpacks come with plastic or thin polyester sidewalls which can on occasion be simply damaged by sharp items. The walls in the standard backpack I had gave way at the seams as it just couldn't handle the strain.

Having heaps of compartments helps to make it easier to store as well as to find your stuff and compression straps helps keep things in place . Some backpacks even come with PALS ( Pouch Attachment Ladder System ) webbing or grid system which enables you to attach clobber or modular pouches to the backpack.

Looks
tactical backpacks just look downright cool, in my viewpoint. But if you are not one for large mountain rucks, you could get an ultra thin model for shorter journeys. Many military backpacks now come in numerous colours though I have not begun to see one in pink.

Quality
Before buying a tactical gear back pack, confirm it features a lifetime guaranty. I'll be the first to admit that high quality backpacks don't come at cheap prices. Therefore for the cash you pay, it's best to make sure that you get only the best for what you pay for. And from experience, the better ones have a lifetime guaranty.

To summarise :

  • These tactical backpacks are durable
  • These military style backpacks come in various sizes and colors
  • tactical gear backpacks have high build quality standards

Whyte 829 29er - First ride review (Bike Radar)

Next year is undoubtedly the 29er bandwagon year, with bigger wheels present
in pretty much every manufacturer’s line-up. Typically UK brand Whyte has
produced its own trail tangent approach with the all-new 829.

High weight means it needs some muscle to get it moving but in true hardcore
hardtail fashion this is a bike that works best with gravity at its back not
in its face. Once you get it up to speed and start working the front end hard,
the Whyte is a proper rough-smoothing, high-traction singletrack steamroller.
While it’ll boost confidence and control for novices and less aggressive
riders, it really comes alive when you start to work with it rather than just
sit on it. That makes it a great choice for those who want extra grip and
control without the complexity of suspension.

#### Ride & handling: A fun and dynamic bike to ride

Grunting the bike out of corners or up climbs the combination of bigger wheel
inertia and overall weight is noticeable, but then if you want a racer, get
the carbon bike. The curved seat tube also puts the saddle right back towards
the rear axle, so if ...
