Frequently Asked Questions...
What is considered white culture?
So many ethnic contributions make up the united states. Spanish, African-American, Native American, Asian, etc. If all the cultures were gone and only white folks were here....what represents the white culture?
Ok so define "white". In the US everything seems to be defined by either you are "white" or "black". So all I am asking is what do people consider "white" culture.
Answer:
There is no "white culture" here. White is a color designation, not a heritage. Culture is one of the things people's relatives sacrificed by coming here. Within a few generations their decedents are "Americanized" and connections to ancestral culture is largely or fully lost.
Families of ANY type that are still connected to their REAL culture here are those that are relative newcomers. Anyone who's been too far removed for too long, generationaly speaking, however has generally experienced a disconnect.
No amount of new music styles, nor clothing or attitude trends can ever constitute as real "culture."

Culinary Education: Where to Find The Right School
People who wish to start a career in the culinary arts may first decide to relocate somewhere else in the United States to have a better shot at advancing up the culinary ranks. It is apparent that major cities like Boston, LA, Atlanta, San Francisco, and The Big Apple are where to find the highest quality and most respected culinary organizations. Even though there are a vast array of options in smaller towns, culinary students might not have an easy time getting their foot in the door of these markets. Although, if the resume shows experience from a restaurant in New York, it may be read with greater consideration. Culinary schools and cooking classes are very abundant in the elite culinary areas, as are restaurants and other establishments requiring a qualified culinary workforce. This is the reason many people starting their culinary careers do move to major cities like Chicago, or New York for culinary school. San Francisco and Boston are some other metropolitan areas with quality culinary programs quality culinary career possibilities.
Find Cooking Classes Near Your City.
Barring any family issues, the major hindrance to moving to one of these cities is cost. It must be known that cities that have the best restaurants and culinary programs, are also cities where cost of living is very expensive. However, many schools in these locations will offer scholarships based on financial need to those eligible, which may make it possible to live in the city or the surrounding metropolitan area. In fact, many cooking schools in these areas are themselves some distance from the city, probably due to the same problem faced by their potential students.
Find A Quality Culinary Program.
Though a career can be started in almost any city, people who can afford it should contemplate enrolling in a culinary school based in a city with some culinary clout. After graduation and any associated externships, the decision can be made as to whether to look for opportunities in the same area or to return home to offer those newly acquired cooking skills to an old neighborhood restaurant.
